The Roots Community Church partners with City Gates Ministeries to do local outreach. City Gates Ministries has been serving people-in-need since 1995 and has made a massive impact in getting the Gospel of Jesus to the streets! Currently, City Gates services over 500 people every month through various programs.
The Roots helps support this ministry both financially and with volunteers. They have several ways to help out. One way that most of our volunteers help is on Thursday nights. They meet on the corner of State and Adams in downtown Olympia from 6:45 pm - 9:00 pm. It's an open invitation for volunteers.
